Peter Langford is my wife’s 90 year old Grandad, a retired vicar and a world class cyclist..?
I followed him for his final 3 days of his Lands’ End to John O’Groats challenge as he attempted to become the oldest person to ever cycle the length of Britain – all in aid of 2 homeless charities.

    1. Any way you could do an interview with him I like to know what hos lifestyle was like, how did he eat and what not that would be sweet!!!

    2. Fo your interest, and for Peter's, Bettyhill is named after Elizabeth the Duchess of Sutherland. She wanted to called the new village, made up of people she had cleared from the hinterland, Elizabeth's Mount but the locals had other ideas and so it became Bettyhill.

    3. A heart of Gold and as tough as Nails. What a combination. And all on a bog standard bike, not a Battery in sight. Superb effort, well done fella 👍

    4. This is inspiring that a 90 year-old would be so altruistic to give of his time and energy for those in need. Thank you vicar Peter for this inspiration. Even more inspiring would be to hear of his walk with Christ through his many years of serving Christ. I hope to hear his testimony of what Christ has done in his life. This is why we are here, to glorify Christ Jesus, whether then we eat or drink or whatever we do, we are to do All for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31.

    5. Thank you for this inspiring video of Peter’s amazing adventure. Kudos to Rev Peter from a colleague and fellow cyclist (59 years old) in Edmonton, Canada. Donation made! Hope the £50k goal is reached soon. ❤
