Peter Langford is my wife’s 90 year old Grandad, a retired vicar and a world class cyclist..?
I followed him for his final 3 days of his Lands’ End to John O’Groats challenge as he attempted to become the oldest person to ever cycle the length of Britain – all in aid of 2 homeless charities.

What a man!
Brilliant
Bravo to this gent! 🎉 I hope to be as spry in my 90s.
Any way you could do an interview with him I like to know what hos lifestyle was like, how did he eat and what not that would be sweet!!!
What an inspiration! They should definitely name this route The Peter Trail ❤️
Fo your interest, and for Peter's, Bettyhill is named after Elizabeth the Duchess of Sutherland. She wanted to called the new village, made up of people she had cleared from the hinterland, Elizabeth's Mount but the locals had other ideas and so it became Bettyhill.
A heart of Gold and as tough as Nails. What a combination. And all on a bog standard bike, not a Battery in sight. Superb effort, well done fella 👍
An extremely inspiring man. May God bless him.
Amazing.
What a hero! Well done Peter! 👏
Chapeau Sir!
What make of bike did he use?
Well done, I hope at 90 I'll be able to do half of what you've achieved, I've made a donation 👍👍
Way to go ! My dad's favorite charity is the Salvation Army too , He's 83 and I just did a video of him riding my new bike on my channel
so the young ones shouldn't have any excuse not to do this!
Thank you for this great video. And thank you Peter. I have just added a couple of cheese scones to the fundraising effort.
Beautiful. Congratulations, Peter! ❤
I'm only 70 and even after 900 miles of cycling that old dude rides far better than I can.
That was inspirational. Thank you.
Amazing story wonderful man I am a 62 year old gravel cyclist Peter gives me inspiration to keep pushing myself and enjoy life!
What a guy!
Is he holy spirit filled? You can't serve God otherwise.
Legend!
Don't say kilometers we use MILES in the UK.
This is inspiring that a 90 year-old would be so altruistic to give of his time and energy for those in need. Thank you vicar Peter for this inspiration. Even more inspiring would be to hear of his walk with Christ through his many years of serving Christ. I hope to hear his testimony of what Christ has done in his life. This is why we are here, to glorify Christ Jesus, whether then we eat or drink or whatever we do, we are to do All for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31.
We cycled past Peter in the highlands whilst also on a LeJog run ourselves; great achievement!
Saw his leaflet in a pub in Betty Hill whilst doing the cycle – proper beast, couldn’t believe it

Thank you for this inspiring video of Peter’s amazing adventure. Kudos to Rev Peter from a colleague and fellow cyclist (59 years old) in Edmonton, Canada. Donation made! Hope the £50k goal is reached soon. ❤
