    1. My dad was a Yank sergeant in the Canadian army, captured at Dieppe in 1942, a POW for the rest of the war. He was shuffled around to different camps and forced on a brutal march in horrendous winter conditions in early 1945. Finally liberated by the British 11th Armored Division on 28 April 1945 from Marlag/Milag Nord in Western Germany, at Westertimke, a tiny town between Bremen and Hamburg. I've been to Dieppe and to the POW camp in Poland (Stalag 8B Lamsdorf) where he was initially interned, but I haven't been to Milag Nord yet. Most of the camp is gone, but there a few remains and a memorial. After it was captured the Allies used it to hold prominent Nazis, including Himmler, briefly. One of these days I will get there, maybe take in an NFL game in Frankfurt as well, especially if my Chargers are playing.

    2. The Rich Eisen Show – the staple of covering American style football in GER! Simply keep embracing these International Games in FRA or MUC as much as we Germans are embracing the NFL. It's a small world after all. Finally, the "American Bowls", WLAF and NFLE are paying dividends. Having served as team photographer of both the Frankfurt Galaxy and Rhein Fire from 1995 – 2007 and a NFL-nerd from the 1981 NFL season, this development in fan and media interest makes me feel proud!

    3. Rich Eisen is getting the full German experience! Please make only 100 Americans spend their summer vacation in Germany!!!! The German Tourist Board wird Dich feiern! Völkerverständigung dank der NFL! ❤

    4. NFL needs to send Rich on more international assignments. These shows lately have been great with the guest hosts and Rich talking about whatever is top of mind.

Send his family along if you must

    5. So one of the faces of the most toughest professional sport is going on a bike tour and to museums in Germany?
As I always say: it is a game of gentleman!
Folks, the NFL stays „Zuhause“ – still unreal. Welcome, football is coming home!
Enjoy your private time and watch the other bikers – they go crazy nowadays.
