We’ve arrived in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, in the north eastern part of Europe.

We’re here for at least a month, with no return tickets booked and we’ve settled into a nice apartment in Uzupis- Andrea of Vilnius just 15 minutes walk from the old town.

  1. Damn YouTube algorithm. Next Monday, after three years, I am going to visit my Homeland Lithuania. I am afraid of what I will feel when I'll go back. I'm afraid of what I will feel, when I'll be hugging my Grandma Janina. I can already feel those rainy summer days on my skin (and you bet ya, I hope for some rain), can smell the wet oldtown, can hear the soft sunshine peeking through the clouds after rainy summer days. Can feel the soft lake water that is moving around my waste and the tranquility… Anny way, thanks, Freddie, for the video.

  2. Me encantó tu video! Hermosa Lituania! estoy estudiando inglés, tu acento me hizo acordar mucho a Brian May y a Freddie Mercury! thank you very much!

  3. So you met Lithuanian traitor (emigrant) woman abroad and she brought you for the trip. How cute

  4. Hey, just was suggested this video by YouTube. And realized you settled super close to me 🙂 Actually in the house where my friend lives.

  5. Regarding the balconies and windows technically it is illegal to change them. But people do. So that's an enforcement issue.

  6. Love to live there but never found a Lithuanian wife to share a great life there, and now houses to buy in LT are really expensive now

  7. My missus is Lithuanian. She thinks English winters are cold, until I remind her of where she’s from. Every time I meet family, I’m either over fed and/or drunk. The latter more.

  8. A great introduction to Vilnius… I went to Finland many years ago and I see the similarities and differences. I'm sold on a visit 🙂 One thing… I suspect that £5.70 in that cafe, while pretty reasonable by UK standards is possibly pretty expensive for residents there.

  9. Great see see the city, even just the glimpse. I'm in New Zealand and several of the eBay sellers I buy parts for my BMWs from are in Vilnius! For some reason Lithuania and Poland are the best sources for parts, delivered to this part of the world.

  10. After seeing you all around the world it's funny to see Vilnius and especially Uzupis in your video. That's where my family in law lives, love that place !
