Budapest is an amazing city with a fantastic cycling network. Dedicated lanes and traffic controls for bicycles and scooters make this a place where riding a bike/scooter is safe and therefore many are moving away from cars and other modes of transport.

This video was taken on a rental bike. Mol Bubi is the bike sharing network and bikes cost around £0.09 per minute to rent. With the help of the Mol Bubi app, I picked up the bike at one Mol Bubi station and left if off at another. There are 197 stations in the city.

It is a very easy and efficient system, even for tourists. There is a similar sharing network for electric scooter rental. Lime is the scooter app you’ll need and scooter rental costs a little more than bicycle rental.
