We call it the “central point” of the tour. And for our Volcanoes of the Auvergne motorcycle tour in France we chose the city, actually 2 cities, of Clermont-Ferrand as our central point. Although it is slightly bigger than our other central points, we really liked Clermont-Ferrand and it is perfect to explore the Chaines des Puys and the Puy de Dome.
