A commute from the small streets of Fontenay to Nation in Paris, I come across two very different modal filters in Montreuil and Vincennes, that prevent rat-running and calms traffic in residential areas. They happen to be very simple and don’t require heavy construction. A simple idea that can be easily copy-pasted where needed.

    2. Some steps in the right direction (re-villageing). Several good practices, special highlight to the constant chicaneing at the beginning of the video, to reduce speeds and increase focus. However, Paris still hasn't understood that Through Traffic elimination is the key to recover dead neighborhoods. Anywhere that's a "street" is a non place, therefore nobody wants to be there, and we, accordingly, observe a lack of habitability and inviteability. We live in a state that benefits from the the allienation created by these non places, and the fact that people are always either in a metal box or concrete box, in front of the tv idiot box. We are definitely governed by psychopaths, as a rule!
