Building this little by little for my wife. I found it used so I pulled the trigger on it. It came with vittoria morza tires, a seized fork and a bent derailer lol. I replaced the fork and derailer with OEM parts when I received it. Then a few weeks later I replaced the grips, pedals and chain to match the frame and she loved it. Now I’m replacing the drivetrain from a 3×8 Altus to a 1×11 CUES U6000 to make shifting easier for her. For that to happen I also need to replace the freewheel from the current 7spd to the new 9spd freewheel. The last thing I’m going to throw on there is the new gen3 Marlin chainstay protector. I’ve run into plenty of issues but what’s really taking forever is just waiting for things I need to come in the mail lol. Hopefully this will be done in the next few days. Anyone else upgrade a Marlin?

I forgot I also replaced the saddle for a more female oriented model.
