Three years ago, I mapped a route out in the far Arctic north. You literally cycle the last roads in the Western world. And these are no ordinary roads. Wild reindeer, geological wonders, and a wind-swept environment that only the edge of the world can offer. The only problem is it’s a long way to go and finding that excuse can be difficult. That is, until an unexpected opportunity presented itself in August 2023. This is the Arctic East 700 – the route thousands of people will cycle in 20 years.
Full details about the route can be found on our membership page at:

Too short video as normally. Shame on you, Matthew! 😁
Great video. I drove to Vardø and Hamningberg two years ago and that area is really stunning. I didn't have that good luck with the weather like you, but I also saw the sun momentarily.
Love these videos. Keep em coming.
It's hard to overstate how hard Hans hit us. It paralyzed traffic in large parts of the country, caused landslides, flooding, and destroyed infrastructure like bridges and even dams. At the very least it converted some climate change deniers, but at the same time, I know it's just the beginning. Wilder and wetter weather events and (worst of all) more unpredictable weather and seasons are going to be the norm, with terrible consequences to infrastructure, the farming industry, houses, nature, and people. We are on the path to Climate H*ll.
Just awesome!
Strava sucks, it only shows a small fractions of riders who ride there! In total it may by 13 who there 😂😂😂! Can i plan a Route with the help of Cycle Norway, so i can make a unsuportet Trip with no or little mishaps like like Climbs over 25% or dangerous Tunnels?
And is it possible to make a Guided Group Ride of a few days in Norway from a Base Camp just for Sneak Peak?
I love the colourful houses. Another stunning video
Mate, awesome video!
I've lived in Norway for 30 years, but I have seen so little of it. Never been further north than Tromsø
I look forward for a return there in february also?
You are my favourite YouTube channel. Thank you for the amazing videos and adventures.
👍
Great! Thanks for sharing. But where did you store your hard cover bike bag?
This was just awesome and inspiring… and felt like classic Matthew. ❤
This was the most enjoyably edited Bikepacking film I think we've ever seen… So much style! Honestly, well done!
You had me at hello! Great video and editing, and a graet adventure!
Great video and really great achievement. 👏🏾👏🏾❤️
Just wondering…… What did you do with your bike boxes?
Good stuff Matthew !
I need the 2nd part ASAP, please! 🙏
