Is 20 seconds harsh and are they making a point? Yes! But this was an awful dangerous move and it's justified to get a penalty. I think i'ts great other teams let SK worx do the work
We might have to prepare for Vollering crying during an interview. Something we got used to, didn't we? But seriously, the action isn't uncommon. Having said that, it's always a bet with fortune whether the UCI observers tolerate it or not. On Dutch television they presented a deeply moral vindication/ accusation: They, with irony in their voice, hope UCI inspectors could sleep well in case the tour will be lost by five seconds. Someone have to explain "penalty" to them. And show them the images, in case they cannot remember how they milled through to the the end of the peloton. Also, Vollering undisguised herself as a decent hypocrite. Crocodile tears, they attacked while I took a pee, buah ….
Shocking tactics by many
Reusser doing the work of a whole team. She's a proper tracteur.
My daughter got a DQ for this earlier this season in Zuiderzee ronde. The DS was a bit to eager getting her back to the peloton.
and again another great video! Thnx so much!
Amateur 😂
SD works needed a long sticky bottle to complete the finger wave trifecta
Don't this idiots know you can't do that???
This is all on Vollering. I don’t know whether she’s a french fry shy of a Happy Meal or what, but she’s got some issues to work out
too much shit out on the road etc imo
Lolooool
SD Worx seem to have no clue with tactics. I’ve not seen them that much in all honesty but in the last few races they seem to get it wrong quite often!
The SD Works team has to rejoin the race convoy at the back and wait for the comms to call it back into its original race convoy position. At that point the rider normally leaves it’s team car and starts leapfrogging team cars back to the Pelo. You can’t just roar straight back to position 1 when bringing a rider back, really surprised who ever was driving that car made that mistake.
Man, this is why i dont race. If i want to draft, i want to draft 😂 Shes hardcore and better than me so i can't say anything. But for the Tour i understand the rules but glad i dont race.
Honestly you guys saying that SD Worx is poorly managed has proven so true. Multiple bits of mismanagement today
I could see Alpecin team car playing through the peloton with Jasper on the wheel as a sprint lead out. They would never fine them though
Commisaire MVP today
A stage win for Niedermaier in the Giro and now one for Bauernfeind in the Tour! Hopefully that bodes well for the other talents who will come through from the Canyon Generation team. Also very impressive from Magnus Backstedt to come in in his first year as a DS at Canyon and help them finally start to get the wins that their roster quality deserves.
When the drafting is that blatant, it should be a disqualification. The rider was clearly doing that on purpose and then continued to draft cars all the way.
I'm not following women races beyond this one, so I don't know if it's always like that but despite the talent on their roster the SD Works management seems particularly unable on this tour.
That commissaire was more entertaining on the motorbike the phil gilbert for sure
