In Portugal, everyone knows that you don't leave valuables on the street. they steal motorcycles, cars, even things with little value, etc. They easily take a bicycle.
I just got an eletric bike and can't recomend enough i love riding that bike! Also thank for the images of my region! Matou saudades! I'm sorry about you getting robbed!
What was the hardest part? Getting robbed or open the bike box? JK… Sorry you had to go trough that, but don't you even think about becoming a Texan and weaponize yourself. 😅 Edit: Am thinking about buying one for the last 2 years, still very expensive, but it actually feels amazing just to watch the ride.
If you left something unguarded, you basicly ask for it to be stoled. I think it is it that way everywhere, but may just europe? But wait for part to, the route is interesting!
From Lisbon to Porto it's always uphill. it would be better to go down 😂

The naming from Chinese brands is always funny… the "commoda" in Sicilian, "comoda" in Italian was a chair with a hole for a bedpan… , in French "commode" was a night table hiding a bucket for peeing.
I find this very hard to believe. You went ali the way from Lisboa to lourinha and only notice the floppy thing there? Hum.

Curious how you avoided the highways? The road from Lisbon to Cascais is terrifying, even on an e-bike and I can only imagine that it continues that way up the coast. Your video makes it seem like it’s all bike paths and quiet roads but that hasn’t been my experience!
