Prince William and Princess Kate donned helmets and took part in a mountain bike obstacle course at a charity event in Scotland.

Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers says the charity Outfit Moray is about encouraging children to “explore their adventurous side” in wildlife and their local surroundings.

“This was something that uniting forces, not only getting out there, being a bit more adventurous, working with children but talking about mental health as well,” Mr Myers told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.

He noted it was good they visited Scotland as it’s “part of their job” to get out and about in the four corners of the United Kingdom.

“Hopefully that’s a sign of things to come in 2024 because it’s perhaps been a bit of a slower start than they would have wanted.”
