2023 HONDA XL750 TRANSALP. A mid-sized ADV motorcycle from Honda. It came as a surprise for 2023. Honda did a really great job in terms of the styling and design. The new Transalp feels very comfortable and it has a completely new engine, that is a 750 cc parallel twin. It has 92 hp and it likes to be revved. It really offers a comfy ride and it is a nice overall package. It is a modern and quality made ADV bike. Here is what I think of this bike. Watch the video for more. I did a walkaround, I explained the features of this bike and rode it. Finally there are PROS and CONS. This is a test ride of a legendary Honda Transalp that is completely new for 2023. 2023 HONDA XL750 TRANSALP test ride: a good-looking ADV bike

    1. one of the best videos about the motorcycle I found.Short and to the point . I'll buy one tomorrow to 90% .Hope my seller is cooperative .Thanks Gregor 🙂

    2. That would be a great bike for me. Lots of my friends have long country unpaved driveways, and lots of nice highways to get there. . Great review, Gregor;!

    3. Come on Gregor, I know you want to get into the back hills on an adventure bike lol. I can see you now crossing Europe on the back dirt roads😊

    4. Great & detailed review thanx.
Have tested the bike here in Scandinavia this summer and yes it was a very pleasant & enjoyable expirience.
Am the current & proud owner of:
      Honda:
      Transalp 650/2005.
      Crosstourer 1200X DCT/2019.
Been a long wait over 10years & now the legend is finally back in the 4th version & ready for the digital era. Probably the best Transalp yet.
      More Pros than Cons.
Pros:(the ones Yu did not mention)
      Maximum Fun factor.
Plenty of Honda orginal accesories & other brands available.
      Adequat suspension & ground clearence.
      Cons:
      No Gps mounting bar.
      No easy adjustment of suspension.
      No adjustable windscreen.
      No adjustable front fender.
      No Wingbadge.
      No DCT.
No suspended gear & break levers.
To naked out of the box.
Price & final cost will increase signifikant with all the necesary extras needed here in «tax hell»
No air temprature indicator (a must in arctic climates)
      No range to empty indicator.
      Airfilter under the tank.
      Low muffler.
      Welded Subframe.
      Sump Lump.
Mizz abit more « DNA» from the previous Legends like the great unique high muffler with «2 rocket launcers» & 650 headlight..
      Conclusion:
Cruise control & tubeless tires might be considered premium options. But might have been great as an option with the Honda packs available…
      Half hearted by Honda ?
Maybe My expectations We’re unrealisticly high.
Will Kip My current bikes for now. Maybe down the road Honda will relize a Transalp Rally version just like Yamaha with their own Tenere legend.
This bike should provide Honda a great base plattform for future upgrades & improvments.
      The Power Of Dreams ❤

    5. Great review and a very nice bike. Both the new V-strom 800 and the transalp are very good bikes. Have you ridden the V Strom yet ?
