A biking holiday in Denmark is not just about cycling. We biked from North Sealand to Jutland, exploring the country, nature and the people and tasting the food while learning about the local culture follows naturally with a cycling holiday.

We explored North Sealand with Kronborg Castle, Esrum Abbey, Gilleleje. From there we went to the archipelago Fyn, where we chose the culinary route and also visited Faaborg, Egeskov castle and Aero.

We continued to Southern Jutland to see the Wadden Sea, Toender, the Universe Science Park, Haderslev and Aroe. In Horsens, we have seen the Uncovered Bridge, the prison museum Faengslet and also Endelave.

Another spot was the Ancient Road in Haervejen to see Jelling, Vejle, Roerbaek Lake and Viborg. At the West Coast of Jutland we visited Slettestrand, Bulbjerg Cliff, Bovbjerg and Henne.

Each region had so much to offer. In the video, you can see many of the sights and what you can expect when you explore Denmark by bike.

    Happy biking in Denmark!

    1. Hi, thanks for sharing this amazing video! This city looks so nice. I hope to visit Copenhagen next year. For someone that loves bicycle culture as much as I do, it's like Mecca.

    2. Liked the video a lot…but had to laugh when you lifted the pannier with your leg….empty panniers! You just bike for the video…not really bike touring…really…ROLF. Still DK is great for true bike touring! Thanks for video

    3. This didnt really look like a cycle trip as you were all so well dressed and no sign of long real cycling displayed. more like a fake cycle trip for the camera.
