As a way to boost the tourism industry affected by the coronavirus crisis, the Luxembourg government has offered residents 50 EUR accommodation vouchers for an overnight stay within the country. Mid-August we decided to go on an amazing weekend bike trip and discover the beauty of the countryside.
Starting out in Luxembourg City, we covered the full PC 13 reaching Kleinbettigen, where we moved on to the gorgeous PC 12, which follows the tracks of the old railway branch that used to connect Pétange and Ettelbruck. We spent the night at Hotel-restaurant Dahm in a small town called Erpeldange-sur-Sûre. After a good night’s sleep, we headed straight south via Ettelbruck, Colmar-Berg and Mersch. Having reached the outskirts of Lux City, we felt adventurous and took the rocky north part of PC 1, starting with the impossible 20% climb (OK, OK, impossible for amateurs like us)…
Shot on my phone and (a loosely mounted, ehm) AKASO V50 Elite – sorry for the shakiness!

    1. Ez tényleg nagy élmény lehetett! Innen nézve ami erősen feltűnő: a tisztaság, a rendezettség, a széles kerékpárút, a karbantartott házak, utak, de még a közlekedési táblák is. Itt sajnos ezeknek híján vagyunk….Egy táblamagyarázatot kérek: 1:25-nél mire figyelmeztet a tábla?!
