    1. This reminds me of the vids we loved to see back at the beginning of your tour , the world has changed in ways not predicted since . Did you ever think you would end up here Matt when you were first planning the next 10 years . The new Trike looks awesome and your videos and editing are still a joy to watch . Jayoe

    2. New trike looking and riding great. Why did Azub recommend the finger front derailleur option? Seems super clumsy for such an expensive trike?

    3. You should test the hand shifting before you leave the country, especially in bumpy terrain or stop-and-go, don't want the chain to drop from the big ring when you are meshing on it.

    4. Thanks so much! I'm 77 and my back is too. I've been getting pretty stiff, back-wise after only 15ish+ miles. So I'm thinking of trying a trike. So I know you have ridden so many miles, but from the footage it appears you knees are pretty extended. I'm guessing not. In any case, very well done and I'm sure wanting to try a trike. Perhaps more road miles on the trike and then back to MTB trails. Thanks again.

    5. I'm really liking the setup you have on your controls so far, but the tight loops on brake cables and Rohloff cables make me cringe a little, because I feel that tight bends in those housings create drag and potentially lower the responsiveness of brakes and shifters. However, I know a lot of trike manufacturers do it that way, and if Azub chooses to do it this way they must not see much in the way of problems with brake responsiveness or issues with how the Rohloff shifts. On another note, it's good to see your luggage load-out on the trike as well. I guess you had to cover the beautiful top of the rear rack. Side note – I have the same Ortlieb recumbent bags for my trike and like you, I dislike that there is no way to organize them internally – just the straps that sort of pull the opening closed somewhat. I have decided to design a series of 3D-printed panels that will go inside the Ortlieb bags and will be fastened in place with part of the existing straps but will also still allow the full functionality of the three cross straps that are at the top inside of the bag. I envision these panels as being designed in a way that small tools or even smaller bags/stuff sacks/etc. can be affixed to them to allow for a kind of modular interior storage space. If you're interested, let me know and I will send you some prototypes to try out in your bags once I have designed some to try out in my bags. It's kind of hard to describe, but I assure you, it will greatly improve the functionality of the Ortlieb recumbent bags.
