Northampton BikePark has only been open just over a week so Kara & I decided to go and see what all of the hype was about…

The thing that impressed me the most was the fact there are trails for everyone to ride ranging from green level tracks suitable for families and complete beginners all the way through to black free ride jump lines making this BikePark a perfect place to progress your MTB skills.

In this video I am riding my fully custom electric mountain bike upgraded with Halo Wheels & Gusset components.

I hope that you enjoy the video! 🙂

    1. I wish we had something like this in my local area! There are some projects in the works but it could be a few years before we see anything. We do have a solid variety of trails so I shouldn't complain.

    2. Hahaha!
Tom: "..you wont hear me waffling on, some of you might prefer the peace amd quiet. Let me know innthe comments.""
Kara: Thumbs up and nodding in the back ground.

    3. Always watching awesome bike parks pop up down south. Its a shame we don't get anything up north (proper north). Closest we have like this is Leeds and its still a two and a half hour drive south.

    4. I've just checked about this park last Thursday (20/10/22) on Google, as I live in West Oxfordshire area, and today (23/10/22) out of the blue, watching random videos yours came across, bloody algorithm 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i really enjoyed the video ✌🏽 and the park, i now got a more real perspective of how it looks like, can't wait to go there and try it myself, as it's still 1h15 away.
Thanks for sharing and keep sending 💪🏽✌🏽

    5. Great video Tom & Kara. 👍

10:36. it is a technical line for skilled riders. I have gone over and threw the handle bars in that section a few times.

      10:41. very tight!

11:28. did you do the monster money double? Lol

Note for people heading to the no longer secret woods section. Take a hard bristle broom with you and/or leaf rake. Check the trail for broken branches before riding. Clear and sweep the section of the trail you are practicing on – practice individual sections and work your way into the complete run.

      ❤️✌️

    6. When he said "we drove 2 hours North" it got me excited thinking it may be fairly close northwest or even Yorkshire, But no its still over 2 hours south for me lol
      Looks good place to ride

    7. Walked this a couple of weeks ago and it does look good.
As of last weekend (Jan 8th 2023) it was closed as the rain has caused the trails to be chewed up. There doesn't appear to be anything on the website – I happened to be at the driving range of the golf course and I was showing my friend the track and there was a notice at the entrance.

    8. I've watched your 'how to table' video a hundred times now and find that as I'm left foot forward it's easier to push away with my left hand. (Im still novice to adding style to my jumps) Watching that video and now this video I can see you ride left foot forward also.. but push away with your right hand. This is obviously the correct technique but feels alien to me both on tables and whips.
Should I stick with left foot forward and extended left arm and tucking the right or do I need to persist in trying to ride right hand extended
Any advice would be much appreciated 👍
