I want to install a MIK-compatible rack to the back of my gen 3 Domane AL 2 disc. I bought one not too long ago but when I got to the store, the bars that attach to the top of the rear triangles were… for whatever reason cut way too short. So the store gave me a replacement off the shelf, but I didn’t realize it was too big for my frame size (52cm) until it was too late.

Not a huge deal, it was cheap and it isn’t worth it to bring it back, I can just buy the right size from another store. But the main problem I’m having is with the size of the mounting bolts I’ll need. The ones that came with the rack are way too wide, specifically for the mount holes near the chainstays. This could be because the rack itself was too big and maybe the holes in the larger frames are wide enough to use them, but im just guessing.

What size mounting bolts will I need to install the rack to the bike? I believe I’ve tried both M5 and M6 bolts with no success. I don’t want to spend money and time buying another rack without knowing what hardware I’ll need to mount the thing. Any help is appreciated as I can’t seem to find specifics on the Mount holes in any searches I’ve done.
