World famous track cyclist Robert Förstemann battles a 700w toaster. Can he, with his 74cm legs, generate enough energy to create a golden-brown toast? Please like, share and comment!

The challenge was set up to show how much energy we humans consume compared to what we can generate. This is a graduation project from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts filmed in Stockholm, Sweden.

The finishing examples estimate how many Roberts that would be needed to power either a petrol car consuming 6,5l/100km for one hour, or a one-hour Boeing 737-800 flight.

    1. Интересно сколько тратит энергии среднестатистический человек в РФ, чтобы получить возможность купить тостер и кусок хлеба ? 🧐

    2. The average laptop is rated between 30-200 watts. If your laptop runs out of battery, but you needed to quickly edit a document, you could just plug in a Robert and have him power your laptop comfortably for the next hour or so. That's wild.

    3. Remember he is a guy who is Training to put out this Kind of Power over time so dont compare a normal Person to it 😂. That said its freaking awesome and as someone who is using a bike once in a while holding an Power Output of 700w for more then a few seconds is really really hard …❤❤❤ nur Förstermann is a monster(in the good way) anyway

    4. I don’t know if I’m the voice of smaller riders or if I just suck (probably both), but holy fuck my absolute max is around 650W and he just did 700 for a minute
