Great video nothing beats getting lost lol what you think of the Gabilier gilet? 🙂🙂
I spent a year in Bordeaux, my junior year of college, at the University of Bordeaux… in 1977-78! I hardly recognize the city in your video so much has changed. Looks like I should go back for a bike ride! 🙂 Thanks for the video.
Super 🤩 do you have also a video from the dordogne ?
Do cyclists have to have insurance in France? Just curious since the other guy offered to exchange details.
Hope you were safe? No injury 🤞
not much room only our velo to smuggle i mean bring back some bottles of red …..
Do take care Simon. We're getting to old to get run over from behind, E-bike or not. Hope the only thing bruised was your ego 🙂
A similar thing happened to me in Brussels a few years ago. I was walking on a sidewalk and a scooter (before e-bikes) side swiped me from behind. He never stopped or looked back. I ended up with a slight bruise but nothing else.
I trust you're okay, Simon. Exchange insurance details? They have bike insurance? Perhaps you might have a future video talking about bike insurance. I'm hoping to do a bike tour of some sort in Europe next year, for my 60th bday, and I've no clue about bike insurance.
What incredible foresight the Bordeaux people had, not to remain English! (only joking!). Glad the accident wasn’t serious and it looked like a great little tour. I haven’t been there for donkeys years so you prompted a few nice memories. It’s always interesting as well to see how other cities are adapting to more cycling – cars stay behind? Wow!
C.'est un tour magnifique. J"espere tous n"avais pa's une mal a tete.
Loved Si
Bordeaux looks so much nicer then Paris.
France is really just a former British colony.
Ebikes are a menace.
