THE BMW CAN CLEARLY BE SEEN A CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE FROM THE LIGHTS AT THE AMBER LIGHT SO HE FLOORS IT, STILL A GOOD DISTANCE FROM THE LIGHTS WHEN THEY TURN RED HE PLOUGHED ON THROUGH.
THE UNSUSPECTING CYCLIST POSSIBY MIJUDGED THE BMW SPEED S STARTS TO CROSS, SOON AFTER THE BMW SMASHES INTO HIM SENDING HIM FLYING UP INTO THE AIR.
HE SUSTAINED SEVERAL BROKEN LEG BONES NEEDING HOSPITALISATION.
LUCKILY SEVERAL NICE BYSTANDERS STOP AND OFFER IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONTROL THE SITUATION AS BEST AS POSSIBLE.
THE BMW DRIVER ALSO STOPPED AT THE SCENE.
THE BMW DRIVER WAS CHARGED SO THE FOOTAGE HAS BEEN HELD BACK FROM POSTING DUE TO THE PENDING COURT CASE WHICH HAS NOW CONCLUDED.
THE BMW DRIVER PLEADED GUILTY IN COURT,
HE RECIEVED A DRIVING BAN ( I WAS NOT INFORMED HOW LONG )
HE ALSO HAS TO UNDERTAKE A RE TEST ONCE THE BAN IS COMPLETE
HE RECIEVED 100 HOURS UNPAID COMMUNITY SERVICE
AND £80 COURT COSTS.

is it me or did 2 drivers get out the same door,who was driving officer.
100 hours community service. The cyclist is going to take alot longer than that to recover.
The cyclist did cross while the Pedestrian signal was on red but there is no excuse for the BMW's excessive speed and jumping red lights.
BMW driver had plenty of time to stop, decided not and hit cyclist. BMW's fault !!

Both drivers are as bad as each other in that situation. The BMW driver should never be going that fast and the motorcyclist should have checked before deciding to pull out in front of him/her

2 problems here, the BMW did run a red light, also the cyclist tried to cross on a red light as the light was green for traffic. the cyclist also at fault

If you've ever driven a go kart in the wet, you know how detrimental it is to traction. There is no way that someone would drive like that in the wet if they knew that. A good car cannot break the laws of physics.
