It’s so easy to plan a nice bike ride in the Netherlands. Almost the whole of the country is covered by the cycle junction network. A cycle junction is a numbered intersection that is part of a regional cycle route network. These junction networks are linked to another network: the national cycle routes (‘landelijke fietsroutes’ in Dutch; LF-network for short). The LF-network is especially designed for longer tours and cycling holidays. The junction network is, however, more suitable for day trips by bike. By following the junction network you will discover all the beautiful features of the region. From your starting point you can easily plan a round trip. You only have to write down the numbers and by following the signposting, you cycle from one junction to the next. Welcome to Cycling Holland.
