Sometimes scouting the maps and going on an adventure really pays off. This is one of the funnest trails I’ve ridden on the gravel bike. Pretty rough and technical up top, and then really loose, soft, and fast on the second half. Riding the ridge line up top got me pretty pumped and had me almost lose it a few times, before eventually speaking of crashing only to do so 3 seconds later! It was having too good of a time to rein it in so I kept the good times rolling and the grip barely hanging in there all the way down.

    1. The algo recommends this to me two years later? I have a gravel bike but I put more road focused tires on it. I would almost certainly bring a hardtail mountain bike in it's place and clean up some of that chatter.

    2. Never gritted my teeth so much while watching a cycling video. Love the trail, but my cowardly self needs a proper mountain bike for something like this. Propers!

    3. Why would we want a gravel bike after watching a guy go DOWN hill on a MONTAIN?
I will never understand my fellow ciclists, anyway awesome trail.

    4. I've mountain biked, but only at my family's farm where there's less of a risk of falling off the mountain, it's enclosed with trees and bushes, you're more likely to get hit and scratched by those than fall off some mountain.

    5. I was scared for him. Isnt it better to hold on to top handle for better control on this kind of trail. You got massive ones 😩

    8. I consider my 1992 KONA Hei Hei a gravel bike with 2.3 tires and a SID fork , also this is more of a mtb trail than what I'd consider gravel . That bike is barely suitable for this type of riding as you need bigger tires to absorb the bumps but as long as you're having fun that's all that matters
