THIS EPISODE, Macedonia to Bulgaria
We ride out of lovely Pehčevo downhill to Borovo then over 2 monster mountain passes before descending over 1000m into Strumica city. Then flat to the friendly Bulgarian border and back into the EU. We ride smooth mostly flat roads into busy Petric and up a small hill to Kromidovo where we camped at Camping Kromidovo, an excellent site run by an English couple.

KROMIDOVO – €12, great kitchen to use. Noisy ukrainians but not campsites fault, but they should enforce a curfew/quiet time. 8.
