We thought we were in for an easy ride on day 3 of our France Bikepacking trip… but the relentless heat hit us EVEN harder than the previous day (we didn’t think it was possible!).
Apart from the heat and Google Maps taking us on wild off-road routes, the French countryside did not disappoint. Join us as we bicycle tour the Bordeaux wine region and even stop in at a not-so-friendly Chateaux (that’s French for a really big Castle).

Google Maps have leaded me into interesting places too. One time I followed Google Maps directions and ended up in private land and had to use someone's driveway and jump two fences to get out of there. But on the main road Google Maps are pretty accurate. It's still my main tool of navigation. Great video. I look into your channel more. 👍

Nice google maps road really, but remember your bikes were a bit heavy, and it was a bit hot. 🙂
I plan my routes using Komoot much better than Google but Google is ok for the road.
