Today, I went on the bike tour of Tallinn, Estonia and I held my camera in my hand for much of it. The tour starts right at your ship, and then you head east to ride through much of modern day Estonia. This is where you see where people live and work, and then you get to stop by the government buildings and museums. But the real fun is halfway though when you ride back past the docks and head into the medieval old town. This town is the oldest completely in tact medieval town in the world, and they love to play it up there. You will find serving wenches in costume offering you tankards of ale while fire eaters and pages beckon you to dine in their establishments.

    I love Tallinn.

    1. Hi – I'm about to go on a cruise and Tallinn is one of our stops. I'm torn between taking a bike tour and a walking tour. I'm tempted to do the bike tour because I think it would be a refreshing change – and I'll need the exercise). But I'm wondering if taking a walking tour would be more interesting because you spend more time exploring the medieval town. You've done the bike tour. Can you tell me if you recommend that or if you would rather have had more time in the old town?
