From other bikers you might have heard that Finland is really boring motorcycle destination. And they are totally right! They are as right as the ones who say that Finland is the best place ever… Because in the end of the day motorcycling is all about attitude – keep your mind as open as your eyes, stay off the beaten tracks and I promise you will fall in love with my home country 😉
I loved every moment of my 2500 kilometer adventure from Helsinki to Hetta. Riding mostly on Trans Euro Trail, but also I tried to visit as many historically / naturally / otherwise interesting places along the way. Route took me close to Russian borderlands, far beyond Polar Circle and deep into the Lapland region.
But don’t just take my word for it – I invite you to follow my footsteps (tyremarks?) and make up your own opinion!

SUOMEKSI:
Seikkailumotoristille susirajantakainen Pohjola on suoranainen aarrearkku. Siitä pitävät huolen karun kaunis, jääkauden muovaama luonto, kristallinkirkkaat järvet, vehreät metsät, vieraanvaraiset ihmiset, mielenkiintoinen sodanaikainen historia ja syvälle juurtunut saunomiskulttuuri!
Itse tykkäsin jokaisesta kilometristä matkalla Helsingistä Hettaan. Seurasin enimmäkseen Trans Euro Trailia (TET), mutta yritin myös bongata kaikki näkemisen arvoiset nähtävyydet matkan varrelta. Matkaa kertyi noin 2500 kilometriä suuntaan pikkuteitä pitkin.
Haastan sinutkin seuraamaan renkaanjälkiäni!

Morjens, chilli video! Satutko muistamaan mikä oli suurin nopeusrajoitus reitillä? Oliko paljon 100 / 120km/h teitä? Olis tarkotus pikku maasturilla tehdä tämä reitti eikä se tykkää mennä hirveesti yli 80km/h 😁
Oh man renting a motorcycle is out of my budget for my Finland trip. Now i am reconsidering my budget 🤣🍻
Thank you for this video! That was truly extraordinary, great in every way! Now I want to go to Finland……only not right now since it is next to Russia…….
miten sä navigoit. käytitkö google mäpsii?
Hi! From California, what were you riding? One in my bucket list is to bring my bike and ride Europe, doing a bit of research and stumble on your marvelous- keep the rubber down cheers
I hope you don’t mind me asking or excuse whatever ignoramous I may sound but did you gargle the stream water at 22:12 – that be safe?

What a cool trip!
Finland are like Norvege, all people almost speak english ?
Added on country to ride 😁👌
So you lost only one day for that repair? Lucky man! Got the same problem on my 2012, which started already sounding bad at Lofoten and then died near Östersund. Bike got towed to next workshop 300km and didn’t see it again for six weeks. Yes, WEEKS!!! 😫
Fantastic video by the way. I understand why you needed to ride until late night, filming that much from different perspectives! 🙂
Great video. I’ll visit Finland in June. Can’t wait !

you are funny guy! 🙂
Hienosti tehty ja hyvää huumoria mun mielestä. Tässähän itsekkin oikein innostui. Jatka samaan malliin videoiden tekemistä 😊
Finland is beautiful! I’ve been there twice and I hope to be there again.
Hyvä video man.
I met a girl on a beach in Scotland and turned out she was from Finland, we went our separate ways after a few days but I "accidentally" found out her address from the Hostel we stayed at. 4 weeks later I knocked on her front door in Helsinki after riding there. We spent 8 weeks riding around Finland.
12 years later we have ridden through 86 countries and now live in New Zealand but your video made us both feel at home 😁
Really nice Video, great work.
And I will visit your Country!
Hieno video, hyvä tunnelma välittyy kiitos tästä
Hieno video Dani👌 Kiitos👏
nicely done! I'm looking forward to my trip starting in germany in a few days!
Only 1/3 through but will continue tomorrow when my eyes can stay open. Really nicely filmed and interesting storytelling. I’m already planning in my head to do this trip next summer so I need to make it a reality
Mukava ja viihdyttävä video. Kyllä Suomea kannattaa näyttää mp harrastajille ja muillekkin. Kiva ripaus huumoria. Tästä nauttii. Kiitos.
Excellent video 🙂
Please more of this!! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
💪
I'm hoping to finish (pun intended 😋) the Swedish tet next season. Then I'm coming to Finland 😍
Onpa hieno mökki vanhemmillasi.
Very nice video. I have done Finland TET twice and would ride it anytime again! Love all the nature and being alone with mighty Lapland nature is something very peaceful. Terv. Virosta!
It's amazing how many good people you can meet on your adventure trips.
I love it👍
Amazing video ,keep going 🏍️🌏🗺️
