GlobalGiving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/ukraine-crisis-relief-fund/

I was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States when I was 6 years old. My parents wanted to give me and my sister a better life, and despite taking the incredible risk of moving to America without speaking a word of English, they were successful. I’ll forever be grateful to my parents for what they did for us. That being said, as someone who still has family in both Russia and Ukraine, we have been struggling through a variety of emotions as so many Ukrainians and Russians suffer because of this war.

  1. Dr. Mike, sorry for correcting you but there are nazis in Ukraine and some neonazi militias were publicly absorbed into the regular army. This fact was well documented way before the war started, and still is as a part of ukrainian resistance wear nazi insignia openly. That poses an absurd risk as, no matter how the war goes, they will NOT disarm willingly after it. In arming a resistance in Ukraine with latest military hardware to oppose Russia's geopolitical game, they might have laid seeds of what can be an european ISIL in the near future.
In the Russian armed forces there are many neonazis as well, so the risk remains no matter who win this dispute.

  2. I clicked into this thinking it was another expat/living abroad video, but obviously not. As a US veteran and citizen, most of us have heard constant anti-Russian propaganda our whole life, often to the detriment of understanding that the Russian people aren't the Russian government. This, combined with the fact no modern US citizen has experienced war within the country, often keeps them from understanding that, as you said, War is Never the Answer. Respect to all sides of your family, and the people suffering all of these years.

  3. The fact that you are going against your birth country by supporting and donating to Ukraine, just shows what kind of a man you are! You have betrayed your slavic race 😡💢💢

  4. I hope Russia will finish this war soon because it has much more resources to do it compared to Ukraine. And peace will come. The hope is only in Russia. Ukrainian government doesn't know how to stop it. It only kills their people using Russian soldiers. Poor Ukrainians.

  5. Stand with Russia 🤍💙❤
This is the only hope in this world against the world's bankers and mega-corporations who do not take people's lives and even whole countries into account and doing everything to capture markets, even pitting people against each other!

  6. In WAR everyone LOSES… In WAR there are no WINNERS…Why a LEADER initiated the WAR without provocation??? Because that LEADER is EVIL…

  7. War is never the answer yet you now live in country that makes war when there is not even a question needing an answer. Shame on you.

  8. Потому что евреев начали принимать в США как беженцев. Поэтому и уехали за лучшей жизнью. Всё.

  9. please stop saying that Ukraine and RF are close. The only reason why we have something in common is the russian influence. They have been trying to destroy all Ukrainian for ages (starting from the language and ending with a real war). Believe me, we don't want just the end of the war. We want to destroy russia, even if it takes years and tears. Otherwise, every single dictator will feel the ultimate power and start their own war. You won't like that.
And yes, I have relatives in russia too. But they are not relatives anymore, since they silently support all of it

  10. When you say you escaped, are you talking about the Soviet Union? I know a lot of Russians and they didn't have to escape but decided to just leave.
About the corruption in Russia, Ukraine isn't any better, probably even worse.
