Cold mountain camps make everything seem simple after. What sleep pad have you got? I bet you felt cold because of that. I have slept on an insulated pad with a crap sleeping bag and fine, but you can have the best sleeping bag ever with a non insulated sleep pad and be freezing.
I intend taking a ferry to santander and riding across to Barcelona, up over through Andorra then back to Cherbourg and home to poole. Loving your trip still mate. Doing it properly by just enjoying it and partying when it feels good.
