Well lads,

So I’ve gotten a lot of comments recently about how much bikes cost here in Ireland & how much on average would you need to save before you consider getting into them? It goes without being said that you’re better off paying for things in steps. Be smart with your money & don’t just blow it all starting up and not having enough to survive on.

Any questions, corrections or comments in general just leave them below! Cheers! 😀

  1. Hey, voice-over videos are cool! Very formal, very good. Riding in the rain is good, you can multitask your shower and your ride at the same time. And it's okay that is is a rough figure in this video, I'll be sure to let everybody know in the comments that they can message you about what they are specifically going to get, and you'll be happy to make a judgement on how much it is going to cost. You can leave out the helmet; will only weigh you down on your new, cool, 12 hp Yamaha R125! Don't need to abide the law when you have that bad boy between your legs, the po – po will never be able to catch you! Also, don't need to pay for a bike if it is stolen. (*cough* that was a joke never steal any bike, even a MOPED, still not good, you're a scumbag who deserves to burn in hell if you ever do *cough*) And trust me, bud, it's everybody BUT the Irish who can't pronounce the threes. As for below the neck gear, full leather jumpsuit with the hump at the back. Minimum €1,000; thank me later. Will help you go fastasfucc on that new Yamaha 125 you got yourself. How much is my method all together? No clue! Don't care enough, but hey! Will just ask Luke to make me an estimate for me! Stay safe Luke, have a good one. 🙂

  2. I just got an Learner now, and I got an 2017 Honda Scooter for about 2850 so I am on 4208€ so far, and I still have to pay for th 88 Euros for the Test and 55 for the Licence. Thank you for the video.

  3. The IBT stuff is honestly shocking to me. I don't know how there wasn't uproar over it when it was brought in, as it's simply another ridiculous cost just to get on the road. If the state were so worried about road fatalities it should be heavily subsidized. No similar standard exists for cars, so it all but nudges people into driving a car instead as it will cost you far less in the long run.

  4. Thinking of a getting back on a bike after 20 yrs..but the bike I want costs 7700 plus buying all the gear Helmut ibt .. the lot… What advise have you for me.. bike is a 350cc scooter .

  5. Makes me recall my garda motorcycle training course back in August 1986 – same month as hurricane charlie – when we thankfully were kept inside the classroom. I must have passed through Cashel at least a few times every week on the four week course. I passed the course incidentally.
