Join me onboard for this stunning approach and landing in Lisbon, Portugal aboard a EuroAtlantic Boeing 777-243. But this isn’t any triple seven, it’s an ex-Alitalia aircraft that EuroAtlantic took ownership of during Alitalia’s restructuring. Though ITA Airways held on to many of the flag carrier’s aircraft, they wanted nothing to do with Alitalia’s 777s, so EuroAtlantic scooped a few of them up. Azores Airlines wet leases one EuroAtlantic 777 for some added capacity over the summer, with the aircraft cycling between Lisbon, Ponta Delgada, and Toronto. This was my first time flying a wet lease. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe for more aviation.

    1. Alitalia's 777s have a new (wet) lease on life with EuroAtlantic, and this flight from PDL-LIS was a real treat. Stay tuned for a full flight review video coming soon!
