EPISODE #85
I’ve been away on a lot of trips recently… but none quite like this one. I’m leaving the Girona, my bike box is all packed and I’m now off to Portugal. This trip is a bit different as I’m actually meeting my girlfriend there and I’m going to attempt to mix a holiday and getting some structured training in on the bike. I think getting a good balance in life is key to succeeding in anything, so this is definitely a good test for that… We do the tourist thing, we do the local thing, I get out on some training rides, including my first ever outdoor interval session. We go to Lisbon, Colares and Sintra to name a few… we actually saw a lot more of the area than this video depicts, but as I said… this was a holiday too.
Oh and yes, the title of this video (although a bit click bait) is completely true… yes, I fell off my bike. Luckily it was a quite a slow speed and it’s mainly my ego that was bruised from this incident. The bike has a couple of battle scars but that’s not the end of the world.

    8. Cool vídeo might! Those are pasteis de Belém and they are made with a secret recipe. The secret has been kept for 200 years!! The pasteis de nata are a copy and they cannot even use the name Pasteis de Belem as it's a trade mark. By the way I know this because I'm from Lisbon. Cheers 😊
