I headed to the British Gravel Championships to check out some of the bikes and equipment choices for this gravel race which was being attended by pros and amateur cyclists alike. The racing was fast, furious and dry and there was a fine selection of bikes on display.

    1. Can't say the course looked too testing or technical; more like a road race. There's surely better venues around…
      Some nice bikes mind you…..

    2. Hi David, thanks for featuring my bike. I was great to meet you and have a chat. Gravel is the future. The Kings Cup is a great event. Fantastic course made for open, fast gravel racing. The most fun I have on my bikes in ages. I also got my top 10 age group result that was my aiming for. More content like this David.

    3. ~7.2kg for that Factor? Should that be 8.2? The Tarmac SL8 Pro is ~7.2kg. If that LS is ~7.2, I would be interested in the spec, haven't heard the LS is astonishingly light and just looks like run of the mill GRX…

    4. Nice to meet you David, I was the ruined chap on the finish line with the Dolan GXA – likely the cheapest bike featured but it's given me a lot of joy. Hope you had a good day – maybe see you on the start line next year!
