“Stage 4 highlights from the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2023. The longest stage of the race at 177km. Starting in Cahors and finishing in Rodez, it’s a brutal day in the saddle. Four tough climbs are packed into the final 40km, the last of which – Côte Saint-Pierre (570m at 10.1%) – comes with just 2km remaining.

    1. I feel Kopecky is gonna keep it until they launch Vollering on the Tourlamet, and that will be it for the GC unless she cracks in the time trial.

    2. What is it with Dutch female cyclists and celebrating when they haven't won? First Annemiek in the Olympics, now Vollering…

    3. New commentator? Looks like it is reading from a same/similar script so hopefully they can fit well into that role.

    4. I've never thought of myself as sexist, but I must be, I LOVE the mens race but have less than zero interest in the female one🤔🤔Perhaps if it was like a marathon, where the stronger females pass the slower men, or an equine cross country with a mixed field, again where the more talented rider wins, it would be more interesting. Or if the ladies started just after the men, and the commentary covered both, there is a lot of dead time, where the same thing is repeated quite a few times. Probably a logistical nightmare though.

    5. I hope all of the men commenting against women’s cyclist were in that peloton. They will get dropped at kilometer 1. Also, the reason for this to be the second edition of the TDFF and not the 110th is because of people like this, that believe women don’t deserve the same opportunities as men. A lot of these women have other jobs to finance their cycling careers. Most of them didn’t think of cycling as a career when they were little girls because there was no field to develop as a professional. All of them can’t scape sexual harassment when they train alone on the roads. Some teams have minimum budgets and race with mid range gears. The reason women’s cycling doesn’t seem the same as men’s to you it’s because it’s not! Because you make it not the same by not showing support or interest. Imagine if teams could get big sponsors, imagine if all their races were televised, imagine if monetary prices where equal, imagine if you could choose as a little girl to dedicate your life to sports and it was safe for you to practice it. Imagine if races were never canceled because of lack of resources. I dare you try to be a female cyclist, you wouldn’t last a day.

    6. What makes these people more interesting it is a race of cyclists with excellent abilities. Not long enough however I suggest more stages would make it more dynamic.
