The Transcontinental Race is a is a self-supported bicycle race across Europe with no route! Riders have to create their own route and include the mandatory checkpoints and parcours.

Definitely the toughest ultra-distance cycling race in Europe that challenge your body and mind.

This is an insight into my story and my partner’s as we complete the 3.800 km in 10 days and 21 H finishing as first pair and 16th position overall.

Self-supported you have to take care of all your needs and carry your equipment.

Self-routed, there’s no fixed course or route, you plan your own route passing through 4 different checkpoints ☑️

    An ultra-endurance bikepacking adventure!

    1. Hello buzzalong girl, tell you that you are a warrior, who puts all your effort and courage in all the challenges you set for yourself, and that in the face of adversity you grow and are reborn like the Phoenix bird when you feel faint in the face of the difficulties of races as difficult as this one, In every pedal stroke you can see the love you have for this sport, keep up the good work buzzalong girl, and it is a luxury that you share your effort with us, keep up the good work buzzalong girl, looking forward to seeing the next video with great enthusiasm, thank you!!!

    2. At the end your friend said she liked albania but earlier in the video you said that you will never come to this country again and some other bad words too.
      Why?
You gave us no reasons why you think so.
If you say something bad about a whole country without any reason that sounds to me Racist.
What if i said to you go back to Columbia.
You are a good sportist please stay humble.

    3. Congrats👏💪 This is very very tough race. I really dont know how you managed especially mentaly. I was waiting for this video and it paid off. 👍👏💪

    4. What a monumental effort for you guys to prepare, ride and film this race and then to edit all the footage into this film. Thanks for taking the time to do it, so that we can live vicariously through your adventures 😃 Chapeau on the result 💪

    5. I loved to watch the video Sherry. A rollercoaster of emotions and a huge effort of the two of you and something you will never forget. I am already looking forward to ride the TCR 2024

    6. You are both amazing people
I cried and laughed with you along the way 😅
What a great adventure of human endurance, caring and love
Thanks Sherry for sharing God speed 🙏

    7. Bravo! Great perfomance, you are the truly ultra cyclist. Looking foward to your new adventures! 🦵👏🚴‍♀️🍻 My plan is to ride TCR in 2027/2028 after Northcape 4000. Few of TCR finishers told me that this is very hard race because of parcours. We will see, will I be strong enough to start that kind of race 😅

    8. This is such a great video Sherry and Gereon. Thanks so much for sharing the "warts and all" of your experience doing the TCR. It really shows the depths that you had to go to complete such a demanding race. I admire your strength of character! And also, how, within all the hardship you endured, you still managed to such great filming. Well done to you both for the insights you provide with your content :).

    9. UP > DOWN > UP > DOWN … Emotional Rollercoaster! What a great effort and great movie to experience the TCR. Are you not using the Tailfin Aerobag anymore? Don't like it or because of Cyclite Sponsorship?

    10. "still a lot of elevation…3000 or 5000…I dont know" 😛🤪 – "so cold – so hot" – Insane experience and could feel the coldness in the alps/at night and the heat in the south. I like your front-suitcase, very aero, is it affordable? – Can tcr ever been topped?

    11. Thanks for taking the time and putting this together. I’m amazed by how, besides the understandable hard times, Sherry keeps always smiling and laughing. I guess you need to be a very positive person to cope with such a challenge as the TCR. Congratulations to both of you again!

    12. Congratulations to the both of you for the amazing achievement. Thanks for sharing this real experience with its highs and lows. It's a real inspiration and setting an example for seemingly impossible challenges! The video was amazing.

    13. Well done absolutely amazing achievement, all I was thinking about towards the end how saddle sore you must be & how you coped. Well Done 👏👏💯⭐x

    14. Thanks to this great video, Sherry and Gideon. Only regret it is too short. Many emotions for you but also for the regions you crossed, i appreciate a lot . But, it doesn‘t matter. Wonderful entertainment of high-professional sport done by enthusiastic amateurs. Your videos have highest quality and the Interview with Christoph is a highlight. Thanks 🙏

    15. This is a great footage of your ride. I really admire you two for the effort you did to film this, beside your tiredness. Congratulations for your great race. I didn't manage to be in the finish line when you came to Thessaloniki, even if I wanted to. I was luckily there only in the first day when Christoph finished. Unfortunately, the place near Meteora and Larissa that you passed, has been heavily flooded for 2 weeks and many of the roads that you cycled are under the water. Anyway… Thanks again for sharing this video. We are looking forward to seeing you in other races too.
