When asking a farmer to camp on his land we get to enjoy some fantastic stories about the history of the place. From ancient Roman gold coins being stolen to ghost haunted dwellings on the property. Just before entering Wales we are recognised by another cycling couple. They kindly invite us to come and spend the night at their cosy place. The weather is typically moody and creates a dramatic atmosphere with the decaying remnants of the industrial revolution we come across in the landscape. The Old Roman road we climb up through the Brecon Beacons turns out to be a seriously tough challenge and we are rewarded with an incredible campsite overlooking the endless rolling countryside below 🙂

    3. We just finished a 1,600-mile tour. A couple of scenes from this video (e.g., pushing loaded bicycles up a steep, rocky incline) brought back "fond" memories! Keep up your incredible adventures!

    4. We love your channel. Thankyou. We enjoy bikepacking and plan to do more long distance tours next year. Would like to follow some of your routes. Is it possible to download them ? In Sheffield

    5. Another superb instalment guys. So good to affirm our common humanity through meeting diverse people. And how helpful and hospitable they were. The Brecon Beacons. Hey, you're in my back yard now. I can see them from where I live and have explored that area a number of times since I was a youth. My dad actually ran special forces selection (SAS) there – glad you passed through. Well, here's to your Wales adventure. It's going to be good. All the best. Mark

    6. Really enjoying your videos. Great to get to view the beauty of our country through the eyes of visitors 😊…. Could I add that if you finish your journey in Edinburgh you will be missing some of the best scenery that Scotland has to offer in the Scottish Highlands which is truly stunning…. Ride safe

    7. Hi brave cyclists. Again a beautiful video. I still wonder how you find these absolutely amazing tracks. You make planet Earth the most beautiful one in universe. Why would people want to go to Mars? There's so much to cycle here. Thank's again.

    9. On the marmite tasting. There's those questions you have to answer when you take someone to their first sushi.
      1. Do you tell them about the wasabi? Silly question
      2. More important. Do you film in portrait or landscape, in slow motion?

    10. You guys (girl included) keep on amazing me for being so determined on pathways which seems impossible to conquer by bike. But every time you two make me smile when you walk up the steep path and descend the bumpy road (??) downward. Big compliments for you. Meanwhile I'm enjoying your skills with the camera and the impressions of this beautiful and great country.

    11. You guys are Inspirational. Thanks for sharing your adventures. In just over a year I will be 55 and retiring , then I will be beginning my bike touring adventures. Your channel has definitely encouraged me to discover and follow my dreams.
