    1. I'm confused; you start by whining that summer is over and you're stopping riding then you spend the second half of your video enthusing about winter riding. If you were a real mountain biker who rode your bike through real, wild mountain terrain rather than on fake trails, surely the time of year wouldn't matter? You must know that the best riding is deep winter when few people are around and the snow is crunchy under wheel, better still riding by night when the moon shines on the snow and the world is silent.

      Definitely a fair-weather lightweight.

    2. Where I'm from, summer is never over.
It is perpetually muddy though. Rainy season's supposed to start soon but with the weather how it's been the last few months, it hasn't exactly ended at all.

    3. It's about time! Down here in the southeastern US it's too hot to ride in the summer so I take it off amd start back in October when it fo ally cools down.

    4. Season never stops … unless you are not true mtb lover … day or night wet or dry …
I can not listen to your bolloks tbh like washing bike is a problem for you b…. please

    5. I’m in Arizona USA, I’m excited for this winter/fall. The high it gets in the afternoon is maybe 55-70 maybe a little less on a cloudy day, and then like coldest maybe 30 in the early morning. This is all in Fahrenheit

    6. That sucks you guys have to deal with such a change in your riding season. Here in the Northeastern USA all summer means is bike park season ends but back to great trail season from fall through spring. We ride all year here. We get plenty of rain too, but we also get an equal balance of "dry" as well. And some of the trails here actually work better not long after a rain.

    7. When you say you’ve ridden all over the country I smirk a bit think about how the entire UK is just a little bigger than the state of Utah 😉. Come to the US, mate.

    8. Fair play the roots section. As you drop on to the middle fire road in the Forest of Dean in your clip can be lethal in the wet. Great for building skill. Winter Miles=Summer smiles

    9. hello from the US. Hope your winter is going well. We had -10 F temps here last week, snow, and 50MPH winds in the Midwest. Tough to get out of bed much less get the bike out for a ride…

    10. My biggest problem in the UK winter: Getting up early on a Sunday morning, spend over an hour packing all my kit, disassembling and loading my bike on the car, then drive one and a half hours to the nearest trail centre, find a space in the packed car park, unload the bike, assemble it, get everything ready, and then having just 2-3 hours left to ride until sunset. Then do all of it in reverse and finish the shower at home at 7 o clock in the evening. Sunday well spent I'd say, but the lack of daylight is really challenging and depressing.

    11. I spent £570 on a set of the best exposure lights. Best investment for winter riding. My two mtbs would be over £15k to replace with the new equivalents, so the lights opened up a lot more winter riding for me and the same trail at night is completely different.

    12. A mudhugger 2 on the back makes a hell of a difference to all day comfort. Admittedly it doesn't look cool or 'rad' but I'm 64 and i dont care. ( I have a front mudguard as well) Also, some say that "there's no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing" And personally a bad day on the bike was still better than a good day in work.
