Is this the worst place to live in the UK? In today’s tour, we visit Bradford. Bradford was named the 10th worst place to live in England in 2022. My intention isn’t to offend anyone who is living in Bradford, I wanted to see for myself why this city is considered to be one of the worst places to live in England and form my own opinion.

    1. I actually lived in Bradford for 18 months, 2001-2003. I have fond memories… my first time away from home of rep. of Georgia. I was 19… haven't been there since but one of the best memories of my life

    2. I lived in Bradford for the 1st 30 years of my life. I've lived in Leeds for most of the last 20. They've definitely tidied up the city centre since I lived there. The brick paved pedestrian areas look really nice. But, as others have pointed out, there are a lot of closed shops and just a general sense of decline in Bradford. It's a real shame as it wasn't always that way.

    3. You need to be careful as a cyclist in Bradford. It's not uncommon for drivers to pull out in the road and wait in the lane in order to turn right onto a junction. My dad was driving us along Manningham Lane (where you were, near the football ground) and a driver pulled off the pavement infront of him, he had to slam his breaks or we would have had a fender bender.

    4. Yh well bradford .. bad drivers there that have a rule off pulling out on ya for a claim ..on purposes.. scamers trust me

    5. Most of the closed shops are due to the broadway as most of the large retailers have moved there and left bradford Center Shops empty. Been living more than 20 years no issues ever.

    6. I don’t care what anyone says Bradford is a absolute shite hole. But I like it because it makes me realise I am sooo lucky not to live there

    7. Lol labelled the worst city because it’s a cultural city pure racism and it not Bradford it’s bradistan and he seen no one on bikes that’s bcs he at centre if he went leeds road and places like that he would see raptors, quad and pit bikes out 😂😂

    8. All the money that's been invested in Bradford has been wasted. It should have been spent on building a twenty foot wall around the place and then filling with water.
      The place is a toilet.

    9. Yeah, the place looks great and safe! Sounds like everyone would have a chance to flourish and thrive and not be judge for who they are there! Lovely!

    10. I was born in Bradford 60 years ago. Bradford Royal infirmary. Lived in more than 40 different dumps, from rip, eyville, to Manningham lane, to holmewood and on an on.. it was a polish/Irish ghetto back then and of course was an entry city for the Asian revolution that took over Bradford. I grew up eating fish and chips, and a meat curry. When I lived on Hollingsworth terrace. Their was one toilet for the street, a brick outhouse with a stone slab for a toilet seat. We rode the trolley bus for 2D to the town center to get my Irish drunk dad from the unicorn pub, and my mum would frequent the Sunspot bingo while we waited.. it’s an immigrant city, the immigrants change, but Bradford will always be a dump.

    11. Bradford had tons of investment. What the problem is, as the majority of the people don't drink who live in Bradford it has no Nightlife and all the things associated with a nightlife, restaurants and atmosphere. the place just dies after 6pm. Leeds is 20 mins down the road and a completely different world, a true, lively 24/7 city

    12. City of culture and diversity award basically means the whole city is Muslim controlled. Trust me, I was born in Bradford in 1971 and have seen the full take over. I moved to Cornwall in 1997 as I honestly felt like I was living in Pakistan and felt unwelcome in my own city. I have visited a couple of times since, reluctantly and it was even worse than I could have imagined. Mosques and Super Mosques are everywhere. The city is rife with Pakistanis in their flash cars dealing in drugs and prostitution. So much for their pure religion of peace and morals. They literally treat us as infidels, happily abusing our young women and benefit system. Consecutive governments seem to welcome this with open arms. None of these politicians have to live with these backward third world animals. Unfortunately they are now even spreading to Cornwall. Luckily I will be dead before the full Islamification of the UK and the rest of Europe. They have done it by mass unchecked breeding. They are like rats.

    13. The film 'yanks' with richard gere was filmed in bradford little germany because it had german looking architecture buildings, my dad was a plumber at the time and he was chosen by the producer to plumb the showers in halfway through the film in the street for all the army solider actors .. That was 1979, in 1984 my dad told me and a friend "if you go to little Germany you might find some film props left behind"

We did and we found some fake empty rifle bullets (still there after many years !) and some fake barbed wire with plastic spikes on it lol

We never found richard gere tho 🙁
