Bicycle Touring France:

We start our adventure with a few setbacks but try to stay positive and make the most of it. We explore the beautiful and mountainous Jura region in France where the leaves are slowly changing into their warm autumn colours. Cows are our constant companions and we like to think we’ve grown a special relationship to them. After finishing our dinner in a small mountain village, we are invited to stay in a couple’s garden and are in for a special surprise. We finish this episode in the Haut-Jura where we discover how small the world really is….

    1. Well done on your tour and thanks for the videos. At 66 I took up cycle touring in the UK having ridden most of my life, but also plan to do some in France, a wonderful country to visit. I have made a couple of videos too, but think I can learn a thing or two from yours. Looking forward to the Pyrenees section. 😊

    2. Hi guys what was the name of the other cyclist you interviewed in France? Does he have a link to any type of social media etc? I’m hoping he’s written a book. Cycling + mathematics what a cool combination

    3. Haven't watched a video in a while and yes have to agree the video footage, composition, editing has improved tremendously since the early videos. Really great editing and shots included. That morning valley pan was amazing. Best touring content + positivity I've seen on YT. Keep up the great work and enjoy the journey

    4. Hi Guys. Another fantastic video! Bit of a random question for Eric – I remember you saying that the long sleeve orange top that you wear in this video was merino wool from Decathlon; would you mind telling me which model & size ( Medium/M-500?) so I can order online? FYI I live out in Thailand (they don’t stock this type / color at Decathlon Thailand) and have friends coming out from the UK over Christmas so will ask them to order & bring out for me.

      Many thanks man!

    5. Hi, ouah the world is small. I just discovered your videos few weeks ago. I was in September travelling by bike with a friend and climbing, our first bike climbing trip. I am from les Vosges and was really glad to see that you enjoyed the place.
I was last week in Grenoble and decided to cycle back to Épinal. Crazy trip back with bad weather and huge distance per day. Anyway I was meeting Antoine and Élodie. I met them during this bike climbing trip and they met you as well…. They told me about you and your videos and I am so looking forward to see the episode from them. I heard that you are now down to Spain already. Would love to meet you on the road. I should travel again in January (not sure that I wanna do it with those temperature… This is pretty tough once it rains).

Thanks for the work, the sharing and the simplicity.

Do you have a video about you and your story. I am looking forward to get inspired from what pushes you to travel this way, where do you work, how do you manage relationship in such close experiences. So many questions.

      Enjoy 🙂

    6. Chronic tube problems I like to carry a tube of automotive urethane adhesive from the auto parts store its pretty tough you can put it on some cloth and then glue it to the tube for an emergency fix love the vidioes keep riding

    7. At 2:37 you said, "People are so cool." After watching several of your videos this morning, you guys certainly are! Hope you get to tour in the USA someday…there are some magnificent rides here. Liked and subscribed. Now back to checking out more of your videos.

    8. I'd love to follow your journeys but I can't find out where the FRance trip begins or what order the videos come in. Are you doing playlists? If so, what is the playlist called so I can see the whole thing. Thanks anyway.

    9. hii your video is amazing some energetic or more than I have something to aske little bit aniseed .1 how you managed your 🚻 things make one video

    10. I like to deburr the round hole with a file then put electrical tape inside the rim and if you can leave a little bit of tape in the hole. Use long end of like until the needle easily goes through. I carry a small clamp with two small pieces of wood to work as a clamp. When I am getting punctures I know about those linseed balls with all the points.

    11. Do not use that type off valve personally use the standard one peace but they make that tire with standard valves here in us. Like to use 3 thin all. Metal spoons to remove tire may need to deburr spoons. Mr deburr worked in a factory deburring sidewinder missle shells.

    12. Religion is mankind's attempt to find God through his or her own efforts… True biblical Christianity is God becoming a man and dying in your place for your sins. I owed a debt I couldn't pay Jesus paid a debt he didn't owe!

Repent, of your sins, then put your faith in Jesus for your Salvation like you would a parachute if you where going to jump out of a airplane. You can't just look at the parachute to be saved, you have to put it on, by faith put on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Now pray, talk to God in Jesus name…read your Bible, Fellowship will other believers….worship the Creator, of all things, don't make an idol of the created thing…

    13. Hi guys , IV had this exact same thing with the rim tape , it gets old and hard and cuts into the tube , to be honest I pulled it out and used electrical tape (two passes) and it's been on there two years now 😅 your temporary fix would probably be fine for years 👍🏼 good job .
