EcoCostel garden and guest house is situated in the village of Rosu, in the south of the Republic of Moldova. Just 5 kilometers away is Moldova’s third-largest city, Cahul. Eco Costel (first name was CostelHostel by the time changed and to AtCostel) not only offers a great, local Moldovan experience, but is the perfect stopping point for those traveling to or from Bucharest or Chisinau. We offer accommodation, hiking, biking, village excursions, eco terrace and garden, sauna, camping. Our services are not charged, we appreciate if you can support us with a donation.

Rosu’s villagers are typical Moldovans warm and friendly, and happy eager to converse with visitors. They are quick to share a glass of locally produced wine, in exchange for the chance to hear your story. Their homes are decorated with traditional folk-air motifs, and they drink from water wells just as elaborate as their homes.

Owner Constantin is passionate about Permaculture a method of sustainable gardening, where he has a beautiful garden where grow a variety of plants, herbs, fruit trees, bushes of berries.

This local garden offers for a variety of organic seeds or heirloom seeds, roots of plants and flowers, young bushes and fruit trees.
