Cycling in Belgium!

It was spring and the weather was beautiful. My uncle gave me a piece of paper with numbers – follow the numbers and you will make have a nice trip around the city. The trip was about 30 kilometers and offered us a variety of sceneries: hills, farms, parks, lakes, industries, bridges, you name it! We stopped somewhere along the way at a cafe by the lake to have a snack and coffee.

In general the trip was enjoyable. There were 2 problems that we encountered:
    1. I kept the paper in my back pocket therefore I had to stop or slow down every time we are about to reach a point. Later on I figured out that the “locals” stick this paper on the neck of their bike so all they have to do is look down – genius!
    2. We experienced maybe 2 signboards that were tampered with. Someone must have turned the sign around or something so somewhere we spent around 10 minutes going back and forth looking for the next sign.

Try it one day. It was awesome!
