It’s raining so he waits until it stops at 8am, leaves the keys to the hotel in his room per the instructions of the nice and helpful hotel owner and next door hardware store owner. Has leftover cheese and crackers for breakfast. leaves the hotel and is pedaling south on Lithuania Highway 124 towards Kupiškis, Lithuania. starts raining again, so he puts on his high visibility bright green neon rain gear, hi-vis gear. At 9am he sings his daily improv rock song. Please put your answers in the comments. Stops at Circle K Gas Station in Kupiškis , and get some water , Dr. Pepper soda, and a huge sausage parky hot dog, bbq flavored. yummy! Takes Lithuania Highway 118 to Highway 175, heading towards and rides through the Šimonių girios biosferos poligonas Nature preserve (Biosphere polygon of Shimonii forest) . the takes Lithuania highway 121 towards Anykščiai, Lithuania. Crosses the river Šventoji in Anykščiai, Lithuania, stops at scenic overlook see people canoeing on the river. Stops for lunch at grocery store Maxima. Gets piece of chicken and some crackers snacks. Leaves town to continue through forest of Anykščiai Regional Park on Highway 119 heading towards Alanta, Lithuania. meets some mountain bicycle riders in the area who are impressed with his journey. vehicle traffic is controlled all the way to Alanta. Lots of rolling hills and safe riding. Once past Alanta, still heading south on highway 119 towards Molėtai, Lithuania heavy vehicle traffic, but still opts not to take longer way to which would add 7 miles of tough gravel riding, so he stays on the highway. Gets to Molėtai , finds his hotel, Gerugnė Hotel. There is a street festival that is ending for the day at 6pm, which Danny Slant walks through. …it was another long long day of bike trekking , today’s stats were 73 miles / 117 kilometers.
