got a puncture about 3mi into my ride and realized even with a spare tube, patchkit, and inflator if you don’t have a wrench to get the rear nut off, you’re on foot patrol lol
Still, was a nice morning and had a good walk back to the car. Our paved trail is really pretty imo

I don’t remember the brand but I bought a really cool tool for my SS years ago and still have it, it’s a 15mm wrench on one side for axle nuts and a rubber coated steel tire lever on the other side. I’ve yet to actually need the tire lever myself while out and about but have used it to help other cyclists twice (usually people struggling with wire bead Marathons or other hard to mount/unmount tires).

Get a saddle bag and put a few tools in it. The same thing happened to me and now I keep flat tire tools in my bag.
