    1. I've heard of people scheduling in non riding days and then taking them as the oportunity arises (of which headwinds can be one) e.g one/two days in seven. Really important to have flexibility and to follow up the interesting stuff en route. Thank you and enjoy.
PS Eurovelo routes can be useful.

    2. Really enjoyed first video – well done! Trek 520 ? How are you finding it and what month did you travel. Sorry for all the q’s! Look forward to following your journey.

    3. Love your attitude. Last September 4 of us cycled from Dieppe to Paris and back using the L’Avenue Verte. W3 stayed in Versaille for 2 nights and cycled into Paris. We found Paris to be VERY cycle-friendly. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in hotels along the way.

      Best wishes……….Duncan McLean.

    4. Love the video, very inspiring. I would love to copy the route but I struggle with route planning. Would it be possible for you to share your gpx file. Keep safe keep cycling and keep inspiring.

    5. Yes, I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing. We’ll be cycling Dieppe to Paris next month, but soft as we are, there’ll be no camping! All small hotels and chambre d’hote. We will also be following your good advice in making each of our days in to easily achievable distances. I am looking forward to the rest of your trip reports.

    6. Great video and music.
You’ve wisely learned at a young age that chasing a set mileage each day should only be used as an approximate marker, and adjusting to suit the day is how to do it.
It’s all about the journey, the destination is just a byproduct!
      Cheers 👍
