Why no commitment to improve legislative changes to improve safety towards cyclists sharing space on carriageways?
About half of cycle fatalities are on rural roads, half on urban roads. Legislative changes are needed to provide greater protection to the most vulnerable road users.
If a cycle route goes through a city/town it can impact cars and cause more congestion for motorised vehicles. I fear that the politicians will go with the majority ie the car drivers. Its going to take some brave politicians
