Part 1 of 2.
Katie, Fay and myself take on Slovenia West loop by bike with very little bikepacking experience and no mechanical know how 🔧 🤣🙈
The loop takes in beautiful lakes, dramatic mountain passes, ice blue rivers, quaint towns, vinyards, and so much more!
We planned the trip over 8 days but with severe weather arriving mid week we decided to split one day into two shorter days thus taking us to 9 days in total. The entire route was just over 450km with 9200m of up. We started and ended our ride in the beautiful lake bled, this made for a difficult last day to our trip but was so worth it for that lake dip and Aperol spritz on the lake front.
Big shout out to @SeatoSummitGear for the tent and camping equipment. Links below to products I used.

Also big thanks to @NukeProofBikes1 for making the Scout! It never missed a beat, it ate up the ascents and demolished the descents with pure comfort and style…. Apart from the slight over the bars moment but that was due to a lack of talent on my behalf 😂k
