Part 1 of our family cycle touring bikepacking adventures during a two-week trip around the south of Holland. Here we travel 28km from the Hook of Holland to a campsite south of Delft. After we pitch camp we cycle to Delft and spend the afternoon climbing the clocktower, having lunch and visiting the bric-a-bac market.

Delft is on the outskirts of Rotterdam where it meets the Hague…, in the west of the netherlqands, not in the south…, the south that would be Maastricht for example..
How many times did those helmets saved your life while riding in the Netherlands ? I guess never, because this isn't the UK , here we don't need helmets……
Nice Nice video…..! beatiful places….!
I am Dutch and I have see a lot of country s, the Netherlands is the best country for bicycles, no doubt about it.

Nice video! at 5:29, the towering highrise building to the left of the church (the one that's in scaffolding), to the left of that highrise is a 10 story appartment building, that's where I live!
By the way, ignore all the people that tell you helmets aren't safer, that are the people that fell on their head and now say stupid things 😉
1.48 Morning. 1.49 môge. LOL
I can never have enough of these videos. Thanks for uploading.
Hi Ant. We're going to the Netherlands next month and have been looking for a website or better yet an app which is in English (not Dutch) and which guides you through the national cycle paths. If you could help, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Paul
Great video, my new friend. Stay connected & Joined with you . I thank you for your happiness and good things for sharing with everyone. Like!!!164*
One small point – the numbers (22 & 25 mentioned) aren't cycle path/track numbers, but the point number you're heading towards.
I never saw so much of our country then by watching videos of foreigners who come to cycle in our country.
You show us the nicest spots. I grew up cycling to school, swimmingpool, whatever. We never thought 'big' of it. And certainly never thought people from other countries would come to Holland to …. cycle!
I saw a video of people coming from Japan! Cycling and looking at cows. It looked like they had the time of their lives!
Thanks for the nice video.
Good to see you decided to ditch the helmets. Feels much better to cycle without them I reckon
Piękne nagranie i piękne tereny, przeslicznie bardzo mi się podoba, pozdrawiam
1:44 sees parade boat, hey we have those where i live, pass right in front of my house every year…
2:19 with a beautiful view, like with these boats and a windmill…
Looks just like my village… wait a minute… that's my neighbor's house, that's the cafe across the water from me!
Didn't live there at the time though, moved there a year after the video.
Really enjoy biking to work every day in such a beautiful and peaceful place 🙂
Wow…you wrote out all the waypoints…How clever and generous of you….
What is with the spacehelmets??? Tour the France??? LOL
That's some sort of flower parade..
Lock down… so time to look for the second time. First born being the nice one, the second being the naughty one. I can know because I am the second in our family.
Nice vedeo love à bike
