Freddie: Part 3 is finally here! Our ‘beginner’ Freddie has reached the end of his 7-week Wahoo SYSTM training plan and it’s now time for his first sportive: the Mallorca 312. This epic event is over 300km in length and a massive challenge for Freddie who has never even climbed a mountain before this ride! With Ollie by his side as domestique, it’s time to see if all Freddie’s hard work has paid off!

    1. well done, amazing job! I was just asking myself if the cadence was to high? He was pedaling like crazy? I assume this makes you tired as well, right?

    2. Hope he is still riding and doing well, made me want to get a training programme under my belt after a few rides that I’ve done……

    3. Great video as so many have said. Perhaps all of us have had dark times in our lives and how encouraging this story is. But also perhaps this story can inspire us to be more like Ollie and look for opportunities to reach out to others during their dark times as well.

    4. Wow! Thank you for this! It was really empowering. I have been dealing with depression for a while and a again this spring. I just started cycling and hoping to make it a hobby/routine <3

    5. I've recently taken up cycling to help build up my leg muscles after several knee operations last year. Im suffering with arthritis, and if I do nothing I'll need a joint replacement in 5 years, my hope is to make that at least 10 years instead. Watching GCN has helped me a lot, with the wealth of tips, you guys are awesome and so is Freddie. He's someone to aspire to be like. Keep giving us fantastic content like this, it really motivates me.

    6. “I just didn’t want to feel the pain anymore” WOW! As someone whose at one time ready to end it, this video hit me hard. Everyone is cheering for Freddie! He’ll be doing Ultra Endurance soon! Go Freddie!!!

    7. Great video. I can relate to Freddie. I went into depression when my father died, when I was 19 yrs. old. After a month of only to eat and go to the bathroom. I didn't leave my bed. But, I decided that I can't go on like this, I have to start living again. Nothing makes you feel more alive than cycling! Beautiful scenery, fresh air and the feeling of, that your not alone. Amazing!

    8. Freddie your an absolute legend you have such a hero you have just proved to the whole world that you can do anything in life Thankyou mate I really want to follow in your footsteps
      Your a amazing legend ❤
