Cycling from Arrasate (Mondragon) to Santiago de Compostela.
After 2 weeks of rest in Arrasate I cycled up to Vitoria-Gasteiz, caught a train to Palencia and cycled to Santiago de Compostela.

    1. I see the new thorn nomad 3 has a split in the frame that allows the gates Belt drive option

I think the frame can Also accommodate multiple wheel sizes. Interesting

Also I think the top tube is a little straighter with slightly different geometry.

    2. Would you ever consider trying different wheel sizes? Or a belt ? Or say disc brakes?

I’m having analysis paralysis haha. Don’t know whether to go with the nomad 2 frame or nomad 3.

The split in the frame of the nomad 3 puts me off but also is tempting for the Belt option

I also thought about getting them to put a few belts into the frame when they weld it together haha, then once the belts are dead, just change back normal derailur gears

    3. How do you find the rolling resistance on a slightly wider tire. I've recently changed to wider tires and resume touring tomorrow so interested to know if there is any significant difference. Nice video and footage.
