Iceland Traverse MTB w Hans Rey & Steve Peat TV Documentary
Full video of my mountain bike traverse of Iceland from north to south with biking legends Hans Rey, Steve Peat and local rider Runar Omarson. TV documentary full length feature.
14:50 has an interesting type of #BubbaScrub for a faster line with less vertical (and horizontal, in this corner-ish situation) motion of the rider's CG… Semenuck(sp?) has mastered this (in some of his videos)…
I wonder if most of these areas will now be accesible with ebikes the santa cruz hekkler spings to my mind. I recently watch the ride through LA that you and Tommy C on the ebikes an it made me start thinking about it. whats your thoughts Hans?
I really hope this is taken as a constructive feedback as that is its intent. I'm not a mountainbike person but I like all types of adventure and action sports. when clicking on this video I wanted to see the adventure of these two guys traversing Iceland. I was just following Chris Burkard's east to west traverse and this sounded as interesting as that but this video starts with who these guys are and their achievements in the sport. I don't think this adds anything to the story and for someone like me who just wants to see the story and the action this is of little relevance. other than that great video. keep it up

I had the pleasure of using Icebike and riding with them when I was in Iceland back in 2017. Amazing service!
How is the trail on that ridge at time 13:52 in the clip called?

can't help thinking the car breaking down at 11:30 is pure Karma for blasting past that stuck other car in the water 🙂

Dear Hans
I've seen your video many times and even after 10 times it's still great.
I would like to make the same crossing.
can you give me some information and contact in Iceland?
thanks, advance
Roberto
