Stoked to see this, I raced DH in the 80's and 90's and I had two girls on our race team that both become solid DH riders and watching them progress and riding with them was always a blast!

Really a demonstration of leadership and how glass ceilings can be shattered with the right mix of creativity, tedious preparation and love from comradery.
There was no reason women couldn't have been doing this with the men 10 years ago. . . . . SOOO much of what it takes to do these runs is 80% heart and 20% geometry(Math). . . . . because 90% is holding on and steering(drifting) along the paths defined by the course builders.
It's nice to see the women understanding that they are just as capable of completing these runs. . . .

This reminds me of how in the sport of rock climbing at least 50% of climbers are women. When i started rock climbing in 1973 in So Cal there were only maybe 3%. Now the gals are going for it on Mtn BIkes !!! gotta love it.
